These are professional quality unframed digital giclee prints on Hahnemuehle Photo Rag 308gsm

This woodcut was hand carved and printed in Oaxaca city, Mexico in 2018. It is part of a series of prints I did whilst on residency at Convivio, an arts and events spaces in the centre of town.

When in Oaxaca I spend a lot of time out in the countryside and drawing in situ in remote landscapes. Painting and drawing in wild places is one of my biggest joys and is where I find most of my inspiration. This is a nopal cactus, one of the plants i love most here in Oaxaca. So sculptural and fun, they create the most beautiful sillouettes on the skyline.
